While you explore

Your photo is processed in your browser. Ordinary photo previews do not send images to a generative AI provider. Changing the piece, material or placement does not upload your photo.

Saving a draft

Save on this device stores your design and normalized photo in that browser using local storage. Your saved draft menu lets you delete it. Clearing browser data also removes it. Anyone who can use that browser profile may be able to open the saved draft.

When you send an enquiry

The studio receives your name, email, optional phone number, selected configuration, source photo and engraving proof. Contact-form enquiries send the details entered in that form. These records are stored privately and used to review and respond to your request.

Security and essential storage

The service uses HTTPS, a session cookie, request-verification controls and rate limits. Artwork is kept outside the public website directory and requires authenticated operator access. This website does not add advertising trackers or marketing analytics.

Your image and the preview

Uploaded files are validated and re-encoded to remove image metadata. The creator may reduce image dimensions to keep the experience responsive. The stored source is the normalized version used by the preview, not necessarily the original full-resolution file.

Retention and deletion

Enquiries are retained for studio review and follow-up. There is not yet an automatic deletion schedule. You can request deletion using the contact form; include the enquiry reference and the email you used. The studio may need to verify the request before removing records.

Hosting and third-party links

The website and private enquiries are hosted on Hostinger. Following the Instagram link takes you to a separate service with its own privacy practices. We do not send customer photos to Instagram automatically.

Checkout with Hostinger

When you continue to checkout, Kothu saves your approved design and proof privately and sends Hostinger the selected product, quantity, name/email and an opaque design reference. Artwork files are not published in checkout metadata. Hostinger collects the delivery and payment details; Kothu does not receive card credentials. The private studio record retains a checkout link and cart reference for matching your purchase.

Temporary recovery and receipts

While you create, we keep temporary progress and its photo in this browser so a refresh does not erase your work. Unfinished submissions also keep your contact details, exact design and retry reference here. Temporary records expire after 24 hours and are removed on your next visit; the browser cannot erase them while this site is closed. Use “Forget temporary progress” in the creator to remove the working design and unfinished design request. Explicitly saved drafts remain until you delete them.

A successful receipt and proof are also available locally for 24 hours. You can download a reference for later. No automatic receipt email is sent. Shared-device users should clear local records or browser site data when finished.
